Alberta Aviation Museum – 30 Years of Progress
A new book published by the Alberta Aviation Museum celebrates 30 years since the museum was established in a 1941 wartime hangar built in Edmonton for the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan.
Stories of the people and planes are presented in a highly readable format.
Full of both historic photos and new colour images, black and white photos on the covers emphasize the historical aspects of the museum, but a barrage of colour inside illustrates the aircraft on display, both those in the building and those outside.
