A Canadian Aviation Historical Society Chapter |
CAHS New Brunswick Chapter was formed in 1996 in Saint John but as we are a small province, we rotate our meetings between the cities of Fredericton, Moncton, and Saint John.
While we only hold four monthly meetings, we are a very active group in our communities. Our members volunteer to clean and spruce up aviation displays and memorial cairns; lobby for recognition of historical aviation sites; and erect plaques to inform the public of significant aviation sites. One of the objectives for CAHS New Brunswick Chapter has been to display New Brunswick's civil, commercial and military aviation history to the public free of charge. This led us to partner with the Greater Moncton International Airport to create the Don McClure Aviation Gallery in the airport terminal in 2003. |
