Our Society is the world's premier organization dedicated to the preservation of Canada's diverse aviation heritage.
Now well into our 5th decade, the Canadian Aviation Historical Society is the oldest and largest organization in the world dedicated to the celebration and documentation of Canada's flying heritage. Members receive the CAHS Journal, Canada's premier aviation history magazine, regular newsletters, and an invitation to participate in frequent local and annual national events. We have membership options for online membership with PDF Journals, traditional membership with hardcopies of the Journal, membership for corporations wanting to provide sponsorship, and museum memberships. Check out the options below to find the best way for you to get involved.
A Resource for Aviation History
As part of our mandate to preserve and disseminate Canadian aviation history, the CAHS also promotes aviation authors and aviation artists. All issues of the CAHS Journal are for sale, as are compendia of some article series. The CAHS has made arrangements with authors and publishers in order to provide discounted prices for aviation-themed books. The CAHS also features the work of Canadian aviation artists in our annual aviation art calendar. Please explore the links below to see what we have for sale.
Annual Conventions
The CAHS puts on an annual in-person convention featuring expert speakers on a wide-range of topics, as well as tours of aviation museums and industries. Check out the link below for the latest updates on dates, location, registration, and the call for proposals.
