Getting Ready for the Grand Opening

With the grand opening just around the corner in March 2022, the past few months at the Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada (RAMWC) were about preparing our new facility and our collections, and about building excitement around the stories we are going to tell inside our reimagined museum. 
Over the past few months, The Royal Aviation Museum of Western Canada has worked hard to build awareness and re-engage the public about our role as a premier storyteller of western and northern Canadian aviation history. This initiative has been helped along by a new brand identity and website for RAMWC, unveiled in March 2021.

The new RAMWC will connect visitors — emotionally and intellectually— with the ground-breaking and significant aviation events from our past.
Our primary goals – to educate, entertain, and inspire – will be reflected in all aspects of the museum experience, from the collections and exhibitions themselves, to our education and outreach programming.
