This website uses, as thematic background imagery, a range of photographs from a number of eras in, and genres of, aviation history. During site design, the intention was to select images that were loosely allegorical to the theme of the pages they were used for. In hindsight, some are probably more successful at this than others.
​Nonetheless, they do represent the gamut of years that Canada has had aviation as part of its history and we do hope that at least some are of interest.
Readers who may have themed clusters of images – that fit somewhere under the broad umbrella of Canadian Aviation History – are invited to get in touch with the webmaster.
