Become a Friend of Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame!

Posted by CAHS online staff February 21
Each year Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame (CAHF) works to research, preserve, catalogue and present Canadian aviation history shared through the stories of our Inducted Members.

As CAHF reflects on the last two years we are sad to have not been able to host in-person events or gather with volunteers and supporters of the organization. While these moments are missed, CAHF also recognizes that a year with no major event, there could be opportunities to build in other areas.

Over the last two years CAHF initiated some exciting projects, projects that will come together in the near future. We worked tirelessly to elevate ourselves within the aviation and museum industries. Some of these accomplishments included, launching a new website; beginning the digitization of the historical collection; adjusting administrative operations to electronic means where possible; revamping CAHF friends’ memberships; and the implementation of online donations.

We successfully launched online nomination forms for individuals and organizations, and we acquired grants to help keep CAHF running through the COVID-19 pandemic. We also created an inhouse media and distribution list, just to name a few of our achievements.

As CAHF looks into 2022, initiatives that have already commenced include planning for new exhibits; the possibility of hosting Induction Ceremonies again; partnering with other organizations; creating online exhibits; ways to share Inducted Member stories throughout the school curriculum; and many other initiatives.

As CAHF plans and works through these initiatives, we are looking for your support through the purchase of a Friends Membership.  By becoming a Friend of Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame you will support CAHF initiatives and plans and have the opportunity to stay up-to-date on current news through membership benefits. To reflect our gratitude for your support we’ve updated our Friends Membership Benefits. CAHF is now happy to offer more options for memberships, new tiers for individual memberships and more benefits for each category of membership. Look on our website for details about these benefits.

As we enter the new year CAHF is launching a Friends Membership Blitz. We want to attract people like you to become Friends of the Hall.

If you are already a Friend of Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame, CAHF encourages you to reach out to your friends and see who might be interested in signing up for a Friends Membership.

Call, email or text them about becoming a new Friend. It is as simple as having them go to the CAHF website and clicking on “Become a Friend”.

Help us grow by getting your friends and associates to sign up as a CAHF Friend. Together we can build CAHF.
