An Avro Anson 1 of No. 2 AOS , Edmonton, flies above typical wintery Alberta terrain early in WW II. This acrylic rendering by Jim Bruce was originally painted as a cover for the Winter 1971 Journal (Vol 9, No 3) - but it was not reproduced in colour.
