Vintage Homebuilt Project
Renald Fortier of the Canada Aviation Museum
We
have recently started working on a paper on the
homebuilt aircraft, both foreign- and Canadian-designed, that were put
together in Canada in the 1920s and 30s. It is our hope that, in two
or three years, this paper will be turned into an illustrated "Web
essay" for our Website. We have basic information on the
hundred or so homebuilt registered in Canada during those years, some of
it found in the CAHS Journal, as well as minimum information on twenty or
so homebuilt that were at least partly built but not registered. We also
have some photos.
Having
said this, we would be most interested in obtaining additional information
and, if at all possible, photos of both registered and non-registered
homebuilt aircraft put together in Canada during the interwar years.

who can contribute information, are requested to do so as soon possible to:
