The Snowbirds - An Endangered Species?
Canada’s military aerobatic team needs your help now!

Decision makers in Ottawa are currently reviewing recommendations that will affect the future of the Snowbirds. A number of options are being analyzed: sufficient numbers of new jets to sustain the 9-plane demonstration, a smaller number of new jets, a propeller aircraft, and the possibility of modifying and extending the life of the 40 year-old Tutor for an indefinite number of years. All members of the airshow community will be directly affected by the decision on the future of the team. A decision to acquire new aircraft and maintain the 9-plane demonstration will sustain the quality of the show and bring continuing value to our industry. Any other decision will have a negative affect upon the millions that enjoy the performances and derive a livelihood from a vibrant and strong airshow industry in Canada.
