Canada's Aviation Hall of Fame 2005 Inductees Saturday, 4 June 2005 The names of those to be honoured by Canada’s Aviation Hall of Fame (CAHF) in 2005 have been announced. The Aerospace Engineering Test Establishment (AETE) will receive the Belt of Orion Award for Excellence. Four distinguished individuals will be inducted as Members: Commodore A.B.F. Fraser-Harris, DSC & Bar (1916 - 2003), for his contributions to Canadian naval aviation Colonel Chris A. Hadfield, MSC, OO (1959 - ), for his work as an astronaut with NASA and the Canadian Space Agency Group Captain Kenneth C. Maclure, AFC, CD (1914 - 1988), for his pioneering work as a polar air navigator C. Eric B. McConachie (1927 - ), for his development and marketing work on the Canadair Regional Jet The Induction Dinner is scheduled to be held at The Westin Edmonton Hotel, Edmonton, AB, on Saturday, 4 June 2005.
